Who needs estate planning?
Transcript
Estate planning is not just for elderly people which is often a misconception. Even the youngest people might have minor children, they might have life insurance proceeds. They might have a house.
All of those things might be passed to minor children which means they might have the most complicated estate planning because they have to take care of minor children by appointing a guardian, arranging for the assets to go into a trust, that kind of thing. Obviously, as you get older you have powers of attorney, medical documents, things like that that become more important. So really estate planning is for people of all ages.
